Costa Almeria Property
A beautiful area of semi-arid landscapes, lofty palms, wild rugged shores and sandy coves on the Spanish province of Andalusia

The rugged coastline of Almeria is dotted with pretty coves, working ports and vast expanses of beach. Inland, the landscape is mountainous and the traditional coastal resorts offer a taste of the ‘real Spain'. Perfect for families and couples, the pace of life here is slow, but explore further afield and you'll discover bustling city life, magnificent sights and breathtaking scenery.
The semi-arid landscape offers empty beaches and tiny hidden coves with translucent water. If you can tear yourself away from the beach, there are traditional villages just waiting to be discovered, the most popular being San Jose. Naturist beaches can be found north of Almeria in Vera. Water Sports available include: scuba diving, sailing, wind surfing, canoeing and water-skiing.
Almeria City has a major ferry port, a sports marina and a working fishing port.
Unusually half Spanish and half African, it's an attractive, largely modern city with a wealth of history. In the centre of the city is La Rambla, a long avenue with squares and play parks for the children. The cathedral is a must see as is the old quarter and the Alcazaba, an imposing Arab fortress.
